Netflix, probably the greatest and most well thought out idea ever. I would love to shake the man's hand who invented it. However, I seem to have an addiction and I know for a fact I'm not the only person suffering from it. But how can you blame me? You can watch an entire T.V. series from start to finish! Absolutely no commercials and no waiting for the next episode. It's genius! So far I've watched the entire Friday Night Lights series and recently finished Greek. I'm now on to Gossip Girl (yes, I watch Gossip Girl). Bottom line, I love Netflix.

SO DONE WITH HIGH SCHOOL!
I know that every high school senior says that they are done with high school and they can't wait to get out, but I'm serious I can't take it anymore! I feel like at a certain point in the year teachers should just STOP giving seniors homework. What else do we possibly have to learn about? It's April and I'm still swamped with projects, reading and a whole mess of other crap. I AM DONE. I no longer care what my grades are or what my teachers think about me. I AM GOING TO COLLEGE. Then there's the issue of the under class men. It seems that every year they get more and more intolerable. If you're 12 years old you probably shouldn't be dating a senior; that's gross. Sooooo it's been real and it's been fun Homer High School but it hasn't been real fun.

Shoulda had a snowday
So today I woke up around 6:30ish like I usually do, brushed my teeth, showered, the usual...then I was informed by my younger brother that we had a two hour delay. Immediately I thought "Yes I get to sleeeeeep!" so I got back into my pajamas and climbed into my nice warm bed thinking school will probably get cancelled anyways. It got to be about 8:45 and school still hadn't been cancelled which made me increasingly angry. So here I am sitting in school. Pissed. Livid. Bewildered.

PROMblems...
You know that prom is just around the corner because you're hearing those infamous questions: What color is your dress? Who are you going with? Are you getting your hair done? Are you taking a limo? Are you getting your nails done? Where are you going for pictures? How many people are in your group? What do your shoes look like? Has he asked you yet? Why do we stress about prom sooooo much?! Don't get me wrong I do these things as much as the next high school girl, but why? It's one night! Then once you get to prom all the girls are so busy looking at and criticizing each other's dresses and making sure no one dared to buy the same dress as them. It's a little ridiculous. Sure it's fun for the first hour or so but by like 9 o'clock everyone is bored and has spilled something on their gown that they paid a god-awful amount of money for. After you're done paying for prom you realize that you could have bought a new wardrobe or a huge ass flat screen television with the money you spent on one fairly average night. I'm not saying that I don't like prom I just don't like all the stress that comes with it.

Broncos Landed Manning
After several weeks of wondering where the newly recovered hall of fame free agent would end up; it was officially announced last week that Peyton Manning would be wearing Denver's blue and orange. Being a Broncos fan I was thrilled to hear the news but I also knew this would probably mean the end of Tim Tebow's career with Denver. Sadly, I was right. Tebow has signed to play for the New York Jets next season. I think that Denver has made a mistake letting this young talent go. The way I see it Denver could have kept Tebow and Manning could have mentored and trained Tebow. After all Manning, being in his mid-thirties only has a few years of football left in him. If Tebow had a few years to watch and play behind one of the best NFL QBs there's ever been then by the time Manning retired Denver could have had a well trained QB to fall back on. Another concern is how do we know Manning is really healthy? What if he can't take a hit? I guess we'll just have to wait and see. When it comes down to it though I definitely can't wait for this football season. It could be Denver's year!
